These terms govern your use of Cobalt’s website design, development, hosting, and maintenance services. By starting a project with us, you agree to them.

The service

Cobalt provides a one-time website build at a flat, agreed price, plus optional monthly hosting and edits. Work is handled asynchronously through a shared workspace — no scheduled calls required.

Scope & pricing

• Your plan defines the number of pages and included features. Anything beyond that scope is quoted separately before work begins.
• The build price is fixed once agreed. Hosting and edits are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate briefs, assets, and copy, or the rights to use them.
• Ensure you have permission to use any third-party material you supply.
• Keep account and contact details current.

Turnaround & revisions

We deliver work in reviewed stages and apply async revisions until launch. Timelines depend on the scope agreed for your plan and the speed of your feedback.

Intellectual property

On final payment, the custom website we build for you is yours. Cobalt retains ownership of its underlying tooling, templates, and reusable components.

Hosting & availability

We aim for reliable, fast hosting with routine maintenance. We are not liable for interruptions caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cobalt’s liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific build or the most recent month of hosting.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
